Despite my new oven thermometer, I forgot to watch the baking process carefully and this is the result. The lemon ornament next to the cake is for a reference how it should look normally. I will try to remove these burned lemons and replace them with new ones. I have a good suply, at least.
The topic is “Home”. My mother is a talented confectioner and I learned a lot from her art. I love to come back home and find a cake at the table!

I was experimenting with Cernit – a bakeable modelling polymer clay. Chocolate is very easy to model. Baking the clay was an adrenaline fun though – I have a gas oven with no temperature scale.
