I just finished Sashenka’s trousers. This is the second attempt and looks good! The final pattern. The fabric is thin, non-transparent and slightly stretchy in one way. Despite my new oven thermometer, I forgot to watch the baking process carefully and this is the result. The lemon ornament next to the cake is for a reference how it should look normally. I will try to remove these burned lemons and replace them with new ones. I have a good suply, at least.
Working with a knit on a hobby sewing machine is always a pain. Don’t buy the cheapest (and very thin) knit, the machine will try to eat it and the knit will make ugly fluffs in the bottom bobbin space. Or whatever will come to its mind, you can never be sure.
